Pagosa Springs San Juan River Stocked with 900 Trout!

Bring your fishing pole…. in fact, there are so many trout, you probably only need a net or your bare hands! Nearly 900 (897 to be exact) trout were released into the Pagosa Springs portion of the San Juan River in the past 2 weeks.  Thanks to funding allocated by The Pagosa Springs, Colorado Tourism Committee as well as above and beyond private donations from local Pagosa businesses, the river is "chuck full" of Rainbow Trout ranging from  2 - 6 lbs.  See more details in this article posted today in the Durango Herald
